Part of my “Freedom” series, Serenity is a rich, textured art piece that exudes luxury!
This painting features layers upon layers of neutral tones, accented by striking metallic stripes and a centrepiece adorned with shimmering glass/ mirror pieces.
I made this piece as a template to prepare for one much larger piece which I wanted to make in the coming weeks.
Due to its rich and multi-layered nature, this piece took a little more than 8 hours of work and over 4 days to complete.
Hope that the intricate textures and calming palette of this piece speaks to you, and that it creates a comforting sense o serenity every time you look at it.
